Located in Richmond, Kentucky, Madison Kindergarten Academy serves as a center for early childhood education, welcoming young learners from four neighboring elementary schools. This past summer, the academy underwent a significant renovation designed to modernize its facilities and provide an enhanced learning environment for its students.
In collaboration with general contractor Trace Creek, TP Mechanical spearheaded the replacement of plumbing and HVAC systems. Starting in May with a back-to-school August deadline, the team worked 50–60-hour weeks on an accelerated timeline to deliver the project on time without sacrificing quality.
The scope of work included several major upgrades:
- Mechanical Room Overhaul – The school’s mechanical room was fully fabricated, including pump skids, boiler skids, fill stations and backflow preventers.
- Heat Pump Replacement – Outdated heat pumps were replaced with high-efficiency units, ensuring consistent and comfortable temperature control throughout the building for students and staff.
- Prefabricated Bathroom Units – Fabricated bathroom carriers were constructed off-site and then seamlessly installed on location.
- Rooftop Units Installation – Eight new rooftop HVAC units were installed, dramatically improving the facility’s overall heating and cooling capacity.
The renovation at Madison Kindergarten Academy showcases TP Mechanical’s expertise, teamwork and commitment to delivering solutions that meet tight deadlines and exceed client expectations. By investing in educational infrastructure, projects like this contribute to the well-being of students, educators and the broader community.
